Are you satisfied with the things you have done and accomplished so far in your life? That can be tough, especially if it feels as if things haven't worked out quite in your favour as of yet. Are there some areas that you wish you could go back and change the outcome, maybe change how you acted so to be a better exemple of love? We all have things we would change, but it's important to remember that we can't go back. We need to keep moving forward, learning from past experiences and being all the better because we went through them. We need to learn to let go and to grow. Easier said than done right? God shows us that it's possible to move on, to grow and learn from our mistakes and from the best moments we've had. It's possible to let go through God's gift of love, given through Jesus on the Cross. Are you ready to move on?
Today's Reading states:'Hear a just cause, O LORD; attend to my cry! Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit! From thee let my vindication come! Let thy eyes see the right! If thou triest my heart, if thou visitest me by night, if thou testest me, thou wilt find no wickedness in me; my mouth does not transgress. I call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O God; incline thy ear to me, hear my words. Wondrously show thy steadfast love, O savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at thy right hand. Keep me as the apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of thy wings, As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with beholding thy form' (Psalms 17:1-3, 6-7, 8, 15).
Today's reading talks about how we need to find satisfaction in our faith, in all that we believe. We need to let faith be the centre of what guides us, what inspires us and leads us in the right direction. One thing that can definitely help put you onthe right path is confession, asking for Godto help you let go and forgive, moving past the experiences that are holding you back. Are you ready to let go and move on? Take some time to pray and ask God to help you let ho of the past and focus on the present moment.
Today we pray:
Help me to grow in my life and learn to let things go. Guide me towards a fresh start and help me to do Your will.
I pray in Your most holy name, Amen.
